Broker Comment
OUR RECORDS REFLECT THE CLIENT INVESTED $15,000 IN LORD ABBETT IN AUGUST 2006 ON THE ADVICE OF THE FA. THE FA HAS STATED, AT THE TIME OF HIS RECOMMENDATION AND SINCE THE TIME THE CLIENT HAS OWNED THE INVESTMENT, THE CLIENT NEVER MENTIONED THIS MONEY WAS HER OPERATING CAPITAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE FA CONTENDS HE DID NOT TELL THE CLIENT THE FUND WAS GUARANTEED OR THAT THE CLIENT WOULD RECEIVE LESS THAN INVESTED. IN CLOSING, AT THE TIME OF THE PURCHASE THE CLIENT WOULD HAVE RECEIVED A PROSPECTUS WHICH WOULD HAVE INCLUDED INFORMATION ABOUT RISKS INCLUDING MARKET FLUCTUATION. BASED ON OUR INVESTIGATION, WE HAVE NO REASON TO BELIEVE THE FA PROVIDED INCORRECT INFORMATION.
