At the time of the pandemic, I was the senior pastor of a small church in Arlington, Texas. My income from the church was my primary income. Because of the economic difficulties that the church members were facing due to the pandemic, the offerings and income to the church declined. The church was not in a position to maintain my salary and pay its other bills. As a result of this difficulty, along with other circumstances, I resigned my position and attempted to earn my income through my insurance business. That proved to be more difficult than I expected in the aftermath of Covid, and as a result we got behind on everything. In addition, the church had a school, of which my wife was the Principal. Covid forces the closure of the school and as a result, my wife lost her income as well.
