This claim is not valid; the client is being untruthful. I had multiple conversations after the RIET listing event; upon the initial drop in price due to panic selling, I advised the client to hold the position to have an opportunity to recover losses, to which she agreed. Over the following 2 weeks, the price increased significantly & within range of her cost basis; I called the client to see if she would now like to sell since the position recovered significant losses, which will show based on the price history which is public information; during the call, the client stated " Keep it, it's going to go up " I said are you sure, she said yes. I honored her request. As previously referenced, this claim did not have any merit. My co-defendants made an economics-based decision to settle and avoid defense expense. I did not contribute one penny to the settlement.

This lien was caused by accounting errors made by previously terminated CPA for unreported income. No lien was to be filed as it was being reviewed with my new accounting firm. All is being rectified and payments are being made. This will be removed.
