THE FIRM FOUND THAT THE CLIENTS PURCHASE OF AN
IDS LIFE FLEXIBLE PORTFOLIO TAX SHELTERED ANNUITY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN SUITABLE GIVEN THE CLIENTS AGE AT TIME OF PURCHASE (60 YEARS OLD) AND THE AGGRESIVENESS OF THE SUBACCOUNTS SHE PURCHASED. THE FIRM CANCELLED THIS ANNUITY CONTRACT AN PLACED THE PROCEEDS INTO AN IDS CASH MANAGEMENT IRA, AS THE CLIENT REQUESTED. THE COST OF THIS ADJUSTMENT TOTALED $29,395.55. THIS COST INCLUDED CANCELLING THE ANNUITY, WAIVING THE ANNUITY SURRENDER CHARGES AND BACKDATING THE PURCHASES INTO THE IDS CASH MANGEMENT FUND. I WAS ISSUED A FORMAL LETTER OF CAUTION BY THE FIRM FOR THIS TRANSACTION.
