This producer had his CA insurance license terminated in California January 2015 for not reporting a
DUI charge that was dismissed June 2011 on the manager's renewal insurance application. The charge was
dismissed as the blood-alcohol lab results was not ascertained to be above the state limit. It is now
understood that insurance producers in California must report all misdemeanor charges on state
appointment paperwork whether the charge was in another state, held in abeyance, dismissed or expunged.

CLIENT ALLEGES THE AGENT EXPLAINED TO HER THAT IF SHE PUT HER MONEY INTO AN ANNUITY IT WOULD BENEFIT HER DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE MARKET AT THE TIME AND WOULD CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN VALUE AND WOULD NEVER DROP BELOW HER INITIAL INVESTMENT. CLIENT IS REQUESTING THE FIRM TO CANCEL HER ANNUITY WITHOUT THE IMPOSISTION OF A SURRENDER CHARGE AND REIMBURSE HER THE 10% SHE HAS BEEN PAYING ON THE $928 SHE RECEIVES MONTHLY.
